Instructions for Tuition Assistance Application
We are committed to making FJA affordable for as many families as possible. Having qualified, motivated students from diverse economic backgrounds strengthens our school in many ways. Applying for financial aid does NOT influence admissions decisions. All applications are completely confidential.

You may use your prior year (2016) tax returns but your current W-2 forms.
Please submit your current year (2017) tax returns when they are complete for verification of your income.
If both your admissions and financial aid applications are in by the priority deadline, you will get an answer about both by March 20, 2018.
Applications submitted after January 31 will be considered on a rolling basis, but your best chances for an early decision and financial aid award is by applying early.
What percentage of our students receive financial aid? How much is given out in total per year?
More than 50% of FJA students receive some sort of financial aid each year. We give out more than $1.5 Million in aid each year to families with diverse financial needs. Our business office will work with any family to ensure they have access to the incredible education provided by Frankel Jewish Academy.
What factors are taken into consideration?
There are a number of factors taken into consideration when determining a family’s tuition assistance award such as household income, certain expenses, assets, allowable debts, family size, number of children attending tuition charging schools and colleges, costs of synagogue membership, summer camp, etc.
What are our payment plan options?
Full Payment Plan
100% of tuition and fees are due by August 1, 2018.
Semi-annual Payment Plan
50% of tuition and fees due by
August 1, 2018; 50% of tuition and fees due by December 1, 2018.
Eight Month Payment Plan
12.5% of tuition and fees due by the 1st of each month beginning August 1, 2018 and ending March 1, 2019.
